Things change when you have a family. While you start being more pragmatic, you’re back to being idealistic. You don’t consciously make the change but your decisions will surprise you - it surprised me! I’ve occupied various roles in the past but one thing is constant: My work as a volunteer for organizations that I believe in, for organizations that I believe will leave a better world for my kids. There’s so much fulfillment in being a volunteer. The space and time to dream and collaborate, to working towards that world without the boundaries of real life. It’s not a pretend world; it’s the ideal world. From working to ensure a free press, creating programs to empower children, to building a platform where people can help. Freedom guarantees this for everyone. Today, it’s for me; Tomorrow, for my kids.
